ICE FISHING

Last week we had our cousins from Idaho visit. All the guys went fishing but us girls got bored so we decided to go visit them. I dressed Kendra in this big snow suit & she couldn't move her arms or legs. It was so cute & she loved being out on the ice w/daddy! BTW - thanks for the cute picture Kim.

PIES...PIES...PIES

Check out my pie skills! Anybody who's somebody knows that my inlaws are all about pies. They don't do birthday cake, it's all about the birthday pie. I decided to practice up for Nick's birthday and for the next big bash so I made a raspberry/blackberry/peach pie & a caramel/apple/pecan pie. The apple one looks good but it was really watery ( I don't know why) so we threw the whole thing away. We had a party for Nick & my mom & invited the fam over to Milford. I forgot to take pictures but all that really matters is the pictures of my pies & this way cute picture of Kendra & her daddy.

Other than pies and birthdays - I've just been staying busy with Kendra. She just turned 5 months old & I can't believe how big she's getting. She's such a good little baby too, she still sleeps through the night & is so happy. I do photo shoots with her every once in awhile & she smiles in every picture. Here's the results of the latest one:

SICK BABIES

Well - it's been almost three weeks now & Kendra is still sick! Her little cousin Jaxon had RSV & Gauge, the croop. Luckily she didn't get either of these but we're just waiting for her to finally feel better. Here's a picture of her getting a breathing treatment. She loved doing this & it made her feel a lot better.

Nick's still here but you wouldn't know it. He might call this a lay off but I like to call it a paid vacation. He's enjoyed cutting wood, ice fishing, playing the computer, watching movies, eating bon bons - ok that last one's a lie but really I'm feeling neglected. Maybe I'll take Lynette up on her babysitting offer & make Nick take me to a movie. Haven't been to one of those in over 5 months & that's a long time considering we used to go every Sunday. Anyway - I know I'm probably just feeling sorry for myself but on the serious side of things I'm so thankful for everything in my life, especially for my husband & adorable little baby. Who knew life could be so good??
