Went to Sherwin Williams today and Kendra went outside to play in the rocks. When we left she started to cry a little bit and this is how our conversation went:
Me: What's wrong?
K: I'm gonna miss those rocks mom.
Me: They'll be okay honey.
K: Do they have to stay with their family?
Me: Yep!
* she starts to cry harder * LOL
K: What if someone steps on them?
Me: It won't hurt cuz rocks are really tough.
K: But who will hug and kiss them goodnight?
Me: The mama rocks, silly.
K: Oh
Me: So see.....the rocks will be fine:)
K: Okay, but I sure do love them rocks mom!

Thats cute! You're a good mom. I would have just said they are rocks get over it and drug them to the car kicking and screaming.
She's a HOOT! But good grief, Mom, let her adopt a rock! ;)
