It's Snowing!

Just thought you might like to see how much snow we're getting right now. I'm not really excited about it, I was loving the warmer weather. Anyway - I guess we really need it so I'll try not to complain too much. Happy Snow Day!!

Easter!

I forgot to post this picture. It's Kendra's Easter basket that her Daddy picked out, along with the movie & pink bunny. He wasn't really getting into the spirit of Easter so I made him be in charge of the Basket & he did such a great job. Kendra has the best Daddy a girl could ask for!

Little update!

It's been quite a while since I blogged so I'll try and get you up to speed without boring you. Last week we went to St. George to take Sam (Nick's little bro) & Whitney Houston (his finance) engagement pictures. We did some at the temple & I took this cute picture of Nick & Kendra. It was beautiful down there & Kendra loved the warm weather. Then on Easter weekend we finally sold our truck, which was a huge relief.

Then we headed straight to the mountains where we spent Easter & looked for sheds. We stayed with the wild Whittakers & partied all night long, playing the game of LIFE - I know,we're exciting. We had a little Easter Egg Hunt for the kids & had fun hanging with the fam. Kendra got a dress, a swimsuit, a book, & a bunny. Nick is still layed off but the list is finally moving so he should be getting a call. He's in SLC this weekend for his math class & I stayed home so I could get ready for Bunco.

Kendra is getting so big, she's rolling over & doing the little stinkbug thing. She jabbers constantly & grabs everything she can get her hands on. I love every minute of being a mom and watching Kendra learn & grow.

Look what I made:)

Isn't it cute? Plus it actually looks like a dress. I ran into some kinks here & there but nothing that a little "un-picking" couldn't fix. In fact, I sewed the zipper through both layers of material (front & back) if that makes sense which unless I had a baby with two heads that wasn't going to work. Anyway - the final product turned out to be quite cute if you ask me & now I'm working on something even cuter if you can imagine!!

Other than sewing I got to visit with my sister Rachel & play with my cute little nephew Lance. We also went to the Sand Hollow aquatic center. Talk about a circus. We (me, Nick, Lynette, Rachel, Melissa & Steph) took seven kids ages 5 mo, 7mo, 16mo, 17mo, 21mo, & two 2 year olds. It was fun but a lot of work too. It was Kendra's first time in a pool & she loved it. She was too cute in her swim suit (see picture in slideshow).

Nick also had his math class in SLC so that's where we've been. We got together with a bunch of our family & had dinner at Josi's in Willard. It was great to see everyone since we won't be there for Easter. Oh & I can't forget to give a shout out to all the ladies at the hospital. It was fun visiting with all of you.
