The Dinosaur Museum

Last month we took the kids to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. Kendra liked it, mostly because she got to run wild with her cousins. Jaxon showed her the ropes & led her around pointing at all of the exhibits. They're quite the pair when they actually like each other.
It was a great day with my sisters & their little monkeys. Please come & play again???

Ouch!

If you can't tell, this is a picture of my knee (the side of it anyway).

What happened you ask? I was at the gym doing some circuit training with my BFF Shelby. All was well until I finished pumping some iron, jumped up, tried to clear a bar & obviously missed.....ouch!! I pretended to limp so I wouldn't have to run the last few laps but it didn't work, my BFF made me finish.

Letter from Kendra

Hi Aunt Lissa, thanks for the cute outfit. When my mom put it on me at first she got the giggles and said I looked like a dork but then she gave me a handful of m&m's and did my hair. I think she changed her mind about the outfit once she put the headband on cuz she ran downstairs and grabbed the camera. We went outside and had a photoshoot but she wouldn't let me wear shoes.....something to do with making Papa Holm crazy. Anywho, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood (I got that from Sesame Street) and I think we're going to sluff church, yet again, and grab a diet coke. I'm not complaining or anything, I just really like nursery, well mostly just snack time. Love ya forever!!
