27 years young

So I'm a little behind on this post but Nick's birthday was on the 15th. It was kinda over shadowed by my mom's big 50th. He also got called up to West Jordan f0r work (Utah, yay) & we really didn't get to celebrate. So if you're reading this Nicholas - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! "You" were my best decision I ever made & watching you with Kendra has made that more apparent. We love you, miss you & can't wait to see you again.

My Hair Obsession

You wouldn't know it by the look of me but I LOVE to do hair!! I love to blow dry, straighten, crimp, curl, etc. So this week while babysitting the White Kids I got to do the girls hair. I know, I know, she's already cute but isn't the hair just icing on the cake?

Popcorn anyone?

Tonight after dinner I popped in the JUNGLE BOOK for the kids. Tay looked over at me & says "don't ya think we need some popcorn?" I mean who can watch a movie without popcorn people?? Not these kids, they're popcorn maniacs. They went through 2 bags in like 5 minutes flat. The babies were practically swimming in it & I've been finding popcorn in every nook & cranny of this house since then. Anyway - the mess was totally worth 5 minutes of silence so I really can't complain. HAPPY POPPING!

Miss Independent

On Wednesday, we (me, K, mom, dad, whitts & Steph/Russ Fam) went to the mountains for a picnic. It was a perfect day for a campfire cooked dinner, 4-wheeling, & a jeep ride. Kendra LOVED the wide open space to run. She wasn't so fond of touching the dirt but apparently didn't mind the taste of it.
These pictures turned out SWEET, if I do say so myself. It reminds me how much I LOVE photography, especially when you have such a cute subject!
This is Kendra POUTING. If she was old enough to take some advice, I would tell her not to make it looks so dang cute!

The only thing that would have made this day better was The Shelleys, Robertsons & Nils. Maybe next time.

Dwink?

This post is a big thank you to my sister Rachel. She gave Kendra this cute little drink box holder & it really does work. It holds most boxes & pouches & I LOVE IT! I thought I would share this clever little invention with my fellow bloggers. Dwink up!!
