I'm still here!

I'm still here but only for a week. My new home on wheels is in shambles as I try and pack it so I haven't taken any pictures yet. Nick flys in on Thursday & then we're headed to Colorado on Saturday. I'm excited to go with him & be a family again. Anyway, that's what I've been up to lately. Here's some adorable pictures of Kendra with Grandpa (her buddy). She loves going with him because he packs her around everywhere he goes. Lynette bought her that cute little outfit so I had to take some pictures of her modeling it. I love being a mom!!

THE PLAN

Well, here's the low down of our exciting lives. We bought a fifth wheel this past weekend in SLC. Nick flew back to Denver & we drove home. This coming weekend, Nick will fly into SLC again so we can pick up the trailer. Then he will fly back to Denver & I will "attempt" to pull our new house back home so I can pack it and get ready to go. I'm also on a crusade to get our house sold, so if any of you reading this knows anyone who's in the market for a townhome - have them give me a call. I really need to get rid of it so we're listing it at $116,000 (for sale by owner). After I tie up a few loose ends here, I too will be heading to Colorado. Those details are still getting worked out because there is no way that I'm pulling a 36 footer for 9 1/2 hours by myself. I think that's about it. Sorry, no pictures this time but I'll post some of the new trailer soon.

HAVE YOU HEARD???

Fraggle Rock is going to the big screen!! It's my all time favorite cartoon & I just read that they're making a movie with all the original puppets. I can't wait to take Kendra & drag Nick along with us. Hope you're all as excited as I am!!

Finally, 5 seconds of free time!!

It's been awhile since the last time I was able to post & it's been killing me. My sister Rachel has been here for a week & it's been so much fun. We took the babies for walks to see the new baby horse, we crafted, scrapbooked & sewed. One day we even stayed in our pajamas all day & ate a box of chocolate donuts by ourselves, it was awesome.

Then she headed home on Saturday & I went to St. George for my little brother-in-laws wedding. It turned out great & was a lot of fun hanging out with all my sister-in-laws. These are Kendra's two cousins, Rhett & Robbie.

It's fun having some other babies around for Kendra to play with. Robbie lives in California so this was the first time we got to meet him & he is a really happy baby.

Anyway - Nick is flying into SLC Thursday night for his final math test & Sam's open house so we're so excited to see him. Hopefully we'll be out there with him soon. Kendra has learned to say dada so I'll put her on the phone so he can talk to her. It makes Nick's day, I think he's going through Kendra withdrawls. Can't wait to see him!

A SAD DAY AT THE HOLM HOUSE

It's official, Nick has left the premises! It's always really emotional when he leaves and this time was no exception. Kissing Kendra goodbye is always the kicker, he adores her & can you really blame him? Anyway, now I really have to be ambitious, I have a lot to get done so we can get out there with him. I've been given the ok to pick out our new house (fifth-wheel trailer) & if you know Nick, this is a big step for him. I mean he's the kind of guy that wanted to help pick out colors for our house & insisted on a family wedding when I wanted to run to Vegas. This means fun shopping for me, yay!! I wanted to ask Lynette if she wanted to come along but last time I was aloud to shop with her was at Ashley Furniture & I came in a "little" over budget. No matter how many times I remind him of our beautiful bedroom set, Nick will not let me live this down - nor Lynette either. Well, I better get ready for the day before the little missy wakes up from her nap & bosses me around all day. Life is good :)
